Viewer Controls

The viewer controls at the bottom of the ‘presentations’ page let you control all aspects of clip playback. The table below shows each button and its function.

Jog Bar: Shows the current playhead position and any markers that have been added. Click and drag the playhead to quickly scrub through a clip.

Timecode: Displays the timecode of the current clip. If you have uploaded a clip from DaVinci Resolve, this timecode will match the DaVinci Resolve timeline.

Volume: Click this button to mute playback audio. Hover your mouse over the icon to reveal the volume control slider.

Previous: Click this button to load the clip above the current clip in the ‘clips’ tab. If you are currently viewing the top clip in the ‘clips’ tab, this button will load the clip at the bottom.

Stop: Click this button to stop playback of the current clip.

Play: Press the play button to start playing the current clip in the viewer.

Next: Click this button to load the clip below the current one into the viewer. If you are already viewing the last clip in the ‘clips’ tab, clicking this button will take you to the first clip in the list.

Loop: The loop button can be used to loop all the clips in the ‘clips’ tab, or just the current clip in the viewer. To loop all clips, click the button once. To just loop the current clip click the button a second time. A small ‘1’ icon will be displayed next to the button when looping the current clip.

Playback Speed: Use this button to set the clip playback speed. Options range from 0.25x to 2x. You can change the speed of a clip while it is playing.

Subtitles: If you want to add subtitles to a clip, click this button and select ‘add subtitle track’. You can then upload a .srt or .vtt file from your computer. To adjust the look and position of subtitles, use the ‘subtitles settings’ options.

Sync Player: Click this button to start or end a sync session. More information is provided in the ‘starting a sync session’ section.

Add Marker: Click this button to add a marker to a clip. If you are in a sync session, you can use this button to add a marker. When the sync session has finished, you will be able to add comments and annotations to your markers.

Full Screen: Click this button to toggle full screen video on or off.
