Overview

The ‘overview’ page provides a fast and convenient way to see important information about your Blackmagic Cloud account.

Each Blackmagic Cloud service is represented by a tile that includes information on service availability and current use. Clicking on a tile will take you to the service’s options in the ‘manage service’ menu. More information is provided in the ‘managing services’ section.

Organization settings

The ‘organization settings’ provide options for customizing and renaming an organization. These settings will only be visible if you are logged in to an organization that you are an owner of. For more information about creating and managing an organization in Blackmagic Cloud, refer to the ‘organizations’ section of this guide.

Members and Groups

The ‘members and groups’ page contains options for adding members, creating groups and controlling ownership in a Blackmagic Cloud organization. This page will only be visible if you are logged in to an organization profile that you are an owner of. For detailed information, refer to the ‘organizations’ section of this guide.

Manage Services

The ‘manage services’ page displays all your current Blackmagic Cloud services, along with their usage.

Clicking the settings wheel next to a service will take you to its dedicated page. Each page displays more detailed usage information, plus options to add or remove service capacity.

Adding Services

When you add a service, it will go into your ‘cart’. You can keep adding to your cart if you want to add more services. Once you have added the services you need, you can review and edit your cart before changes are applied to your account. The ‘cart’ icon is located in the top right of the ‘services’ page, next to your profile avatar.

Billing and Payments

Billing and Payments

The ‘billing and payments’ section of the ‘settings’ page includes your billing details, tax information, payment methods, credit balance and monthly invoices.

Billing Details

The ‘billing details’ section contains your billing address and billing email. Blackmagic Cloud invoices will be sent to the billing email address.

To edit the billing address:

Cart and Checkout

The ‘cart’ in the ‘settings’ page stores any additional services as you add them. Before a service is applied to your account, you can review and edit your cart.

To edit and review your cart:

Open the cart by clicking the icon in the top right corner of the ‘settings’ page.
You can choose to remove services from your cart before they are applied to your account by clicking the ‘x’ icon next to the service you want to remove.
Click ‘continue’.
If you have already added a payment card to your account profile, you will be prompted to select a payment method. Click the ‘pay now’ button.If you have yet to add a payment method to your profile, you will be prompted to add one. You can read more about adding payment methods in the ‘payment method’ section.
A payment confirmation window will open showing your monthly total and the next payment date. Click ‘ok’. You can now start using any added services.

Removing All Services

Removing All Services

If you want to remove all the current services from your Blackmagic Cloud profile, you can do so by clicking the ‘remove all services’ button. The ‘remove all services’ button is located in the ‘overview’ page and at the top of the ‘manage services’ pages.

To remove all Blackmagic Cloud services:

Click the ‘remove all services’ button.
A confirmation window will be displayed.The confirmation window includes information about the end of the current billing cycle, after this date all paid services and data will be deleted. It’s important to note that once deleted, any data will not be recoverable. It is a good idea to make a backup of any important files, folders or DaVinci Resolve projects.

To continue, click ‘remove all services’.
A second confirmation window will open to confirm that all Blackmagic Cloud services will be removed at the end of the current billing cycle, along with the updated monthly total. Click ‘ok’ to continue.

In the ‘overview’ page, a reminder will be displayed to let you know that your Blackmagic Cloud services are scheduled to be removed. If you change your mind and want to keep your Blackmagic Cloud services, click ‘do not remove’.

User Profile

User Profile

The menu options contained under the ‘user profile’ heading include your ‘account settings’ and ‘account security’ options. These settings are global across your personal and organization profiles. For example, if you are logged in to your personal profile and update your contact details, the information will also be updated in your organization profiles.

Account Settings

The ‘account settings’ page is divided into ‘profile’ and ‘account’ tabs. The ‘profile’ tab lets you update your profile and contact information. The ‘account’ tab contains options for deleting your Blackmagic Cloud account and associated data.
